I chose that title because for me it's true. I have had times in my life when words have flowed like rivers through me and I have felt so alive with them - my brain is running like the wind and my whole body is filled with words. They are pouring out of my fingertips, they are bursting to be set free.
Conversely, I have had times when the rivers have dried up and I have been left empty and adrift.
I write, I live.
